"And by chance there came down a certain (one) that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. And likewise (another one), when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side."

As was also the case with the fifteen children ...all passing here and there, but not to pass by their pet, so they would not have to clean up the vomit.

The verse I quoted above, I left out the words priest, and Levite ...yet, many of you recognize it as the parable of the Good Samaritan.

How many of us have gone on the other side??

Do we even recognize which side is which?

"Sir, my concern is not whether God is on our side; my greatest concern is to be on God's side, for God is always right."  (Abe Lincoln's statement in reference to the Civil War)

What happens to a nation that continues to embrace the theory of evolution??  That nation breeds disbelief in God, and if blessings are hoped for, from whence do they come??
